Conviction database
Request removal from the database.
If you believe an entry should be removed, tell us why. We review every request against the criteria below before any action is taken. Nothing is auto-deleted.
When we will consider removal.
Spent conviction (ROA)
If the conviction is spent under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and there is no overriding public interest in keeping it on the record, we will consider removing it.
Factual inaccuracy
If the entry contains a material factual error — the name, offence, date or outcome is wrong — we will correct or remove it.
Disproportionate harm
If keeping the entry causes harm that is clearly disproportionate to any public interest — for example, if the offence was minor and time has passed — we will weigh it carefully.
Start from the database entry.
To request removal, go to the conviction database and click “Request removal” on the entry you want reviewed. That ensures we know exactly which record you mean.
If you cannot find the entry or need to contact us another way, email database@predatorhunters.co.uk.
What happens next.
- Review
- A member of staff checks your request against the criteria above and the public court record.
- Decision
- We aim to give you a decision within 21 days. If we uphold your request, the entry is hidden from the public database — the underlying record is kept for our audit trail but not shown publicly.
- Nothing is auto-deleted
- Every request goes through a human review. We do not auto-delete anything, and all decisions are logged.
- If you disagree
- If you are not satisfied with our decision, tell us why and we will review it again.
